Dr Chris Gerry, Ph.D., Chief Executive at New Line Learning Academy and Cornwallis Academy in Maidstone, Kent, the country's first hard federation of two secondary schools and is affiliated with Microsoft and the Department of Psychology at Yale University. Chris has consulted many educators on personalised approaches to learning including the extensive use of ICT and a combined interest in developing students’ social and emotional skills. Further he has worked with Microsoft and conducts tailored leadership workshops and trains educators globally for them. Clare Lloyd, MA., is a Training Director with the Cornwallis Academy and is affliliated in the Department of Psychology at Yale University. She is the co-investigator of a longitudinal study with Yale University on the effects of emotional literacy training on school children. She had been part of a major research study that investigates the effects of emotional intelligence on organisational climate. She regularly conducts trainings with organisations on topics designed to enhance social skills, including emotional intelligence. She has designed leadership programmes. Working with business leaders, middle managers and educators her workshops are interactive and offer how to steps to make improvements in organisational settings. | ||

Moira Mitchell, BA., is Communications Director at New Line Learning (NLL) Academies and affiliated with the Department of Psychology at Yale University. Since graduating in Media & Communications and qualifying as a journalist (NCTJ), Moira has worked across the media industry in newspapers, magazines, TV and radio. She regularly works with business leaders and educators training them on aspects of leadership, emotional intelligence, and coaching techniques. She builds community and business links and works internationally. She is also skilled at building in-house publications for schools. | ||

Marc Brackett, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist in the Department of Psychology at Yale University. He also is the associate director of Yale’s Health, Emotion, and Behaviour Laboratory and director of emotional intelligence research at the Edward Zigler Center for Child Development and Social Policy. Dr. Brackett is the author or co-author of more than two dozen scholarly publications. He also is the principal investigator on two grant-funded projects examining the short - and long-term effects of emotional literacy training in school children. He regularly works with school systems and corporations in the areas of assessment, training, and leadership development. |

David Caruso, Ph.D., is the Founder of the EI Skills Group, LLC, a company that offers practical solutions for assessment and development of emotional intelligence, and a research affiliate in psychology at Yale University. He was a National Institute of Child Health and Human Development pre-doctoral fellow and received a Ph.D. in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University. He was then awarded a National Institute of Mental Health fellowship and spent two years as a post-doctoral fellow in developmental psychology at Yale University. Dr. Caruso has more than two dozen scientific publications to his credit. His practical, how-to book, The Emotionally Intelligent Manager, co-authored with Dr. Peter Salovey, was published in 2004 by Jossey-Bass. |
